I dont want to go into our marital struggles here because its not the right forum and etc...
My husband pushed off getting his car done .
He asked 9 year old to do it a few days ago but totally didnt do the whole job.
Tonight he used a torch to look for big pieces and just dumped all the rubbish.
There is 100% crumbs and chometz crumbs there.
And he hasnt lifted the seats up or the boot.
Im in UK so we have already done bedikas chametz.
What are his options?
How can he say kol chamira if its not done?

Crumbs are not chometz. Especially not on the floor of the car.

Thanks.
If they all add up im womdering?
And whose to say what he has under the boot or when he lifts the seat up?
I know I sound like a baby but I do not want to do his car for him.
I kept reminding him and pushing him and he kept pushing it off.
Now when its last minute he is just giving up on the whole thing.
He removed the rubbish and thats it but theres crumbs forsure.
How is it ok to sit in such a car over pesach?

What I do is spray with cleaning spray. Anything that could potentially be chometz is now rendered inedible, so not a problem. Also a few crumbs is not chometz, and in fact much of 'crumbs' isn't from chometz.

Why is this your problem? It’s on him to make sure it gets done.

Don't do it. His car his problem. If he cared enough he would figure it out.

Crumbs don't matter. They don't add up to one big piece they are just each individual crumbs.
Technically the crumbs can stay there over pesach if everyone is careful not to eat in the car and brushes off before coming into the house.

I personally heard a major Lakewood Rav say that crumbs or hidden chometz in a car are not a problem. It's only an issue if it could potentially come in contact with food you'll be eating on Pesach.

It’s not your problem. Not your sin. I don’t care when my husband does his. He is doing his tomorrow . I’m in NY… I really don’t care. I did mine. I’m only responsible for myself spiritually.

Op, especially because you're having marriage issues, it's important for you to remember that you are not responsible to save him and you can't save him. If something is his responsibility and him not doing it doesn't affect your and your kids, then you have to just ignore it. It's between him and Hashem.

Thank you.
This morning hes decided he is taking the car in somewhere.
He wants me to start doing the fire in case hes not back?!?!?
What??
I think he takes in what I say but he would never tell me.
He rebels against it but then he knows im talking sense and wont say anything about it.
So he ends up listening to me but I actually feel horrible.

Oh my I'd be so angry. What will happen if you don't listen to him? Your shul should have a fire, I'd just go there and drop it all off. Dh can burn nothing when he gets home.
