Does that include anything containing matzah meal as well? Was going to make rolls for my kids tomorrow.
They are really big bread eaters and aren't crazy about my already turning the kitchen over.

No doesn't include matzah meal. On Erev Pesach from a certain time one can't eat matzah meal, but tomorrow it's fine.

I wonder why my dh and my mother always remind me not to eat, or give anything with matzoh meal in from rosh chodesh. Could just be a mistake. I did by mistake taste a drop of mezonos cake that I made for yt. It doesn't taste of matzoh so I don't get this extra chumra, if that's what it is.

As far as I'm aware it's only matzah. Matzah meal is fine up until erev pesach.

Like everything else it's all minhagim.
Some do some don't.
I grew up eating everything with matza meal even Erev Pesach but knew some cousins didn't. DH doesn't so we can't. We did have mezonas Pesach cake for Shabbos and kneidels. I'm sure there are some that don't.
