I took out a pack of chicken cutlets fully frozen at about 9 pm forgot about it went to sleep. In the morning the package was still cold but fully defrosted, is this ok to bread and cook? Assuming it took 4-5 hours to defrost (or more 🤷♀️)
Chicken smells fine.

Smell means nothing as bacteria and food poisoning are odorless. What time did you put it in the fridge? Was it cold through and through or only parts were cold? If you are in the tristate area my house had no heat or ac on. It was 72 in my kitchen at 7 am. I’m not sure it was the right weather for it. Also chicken cutlets don’t take as long to thaw as chicken on the bone or meat.
