My 8 month old has bad diarrhea since Tuesday and is barely eating, drinking or sleeping. He doesn't seem dehydrated. He has lits of energy but very cranky. Is there anything to do to help him? If I go to the doctor he will probably say it's a virus and just to wait it out.

Under 1 you need to go to the doctor. You can’t just wait it out on your own. It might be shigella which is going around.

When my kids were teething they always had diarrhea. It could last for a few weeks!
I’d still take them to the dr maybe they’d be able to give you something for it (in Israel there’s a powder you can put in their bottle that is meant to stop the diarrhea)

Teething!!
All my babies get like this when teething. Sometimes with fever or 100-101.

I was thinking maybe teething.
My other kids did not have bad teething issues.
The diarrhea is getting a bit better. It changed from yellow to green and is thicker than before. He is also eating better.
I will try to speak to his doctor today.
