Hi, I'm looking for a quick and easy way to use the rest of an open can of lemon pie filling so it doesn't go to waste. I don't want to do a repeat of the recipe I originally opened the can for because it takes too long to make. Any good ideas?
Thanks!

how about putting the pie filling into phillo dough to make turnovers, all you have to do is defrost the dough slather the filling close and bake,

freeze it until you know what to do. (not in a can though!)

I've never had canned lemon pie filling, but if it's like lemon curd, here's something you can do -- slice up a pound cake (frozen and defrosted is fine) and spread on the lemon stuff. Cover with a layer of whipped cream and then cover with a layer of fresh raspberries.

If it's not too late, mix it with a rich's whip and freeze. It's the easiest ice cream. I wonder why would I patchke with my complicated recipe.
