Do you only use white tablecloths for Shabbos? What type are they? Do you use a plastic on top? (Yes, I’m setting my table now.) |
White only
No plastic
The type that can go into the washer.
No I’m not yet ready to set my table.
But I am Ready for my next question…

Sounds like you'll have a beautiful table. I'm going to read those magazines too, so nice that your husband got them. I have Reclaiming Dignity, but haven't read it yet, let me know how it is. Have a good YT! |
Yummy. Lucky relative and hi relative on this site, hi.
Wait, I didn’t describe my table to you. How do you know it’s pretty? I’m joking it is pretty. I got all my sisters haskamos. I got a blue and white toile tablecloth, got napkin rings that look like lemon/esrogim, blue glasses and I decorated the table with yellow roses and lemons.
My husband likes to do his duties every Shabbos by buying me a magazine. He refuses to get a subscription since he thinks it’s more of a wow if he presents me with a magazine each week.
U2 enjoy your holiday and I will let you know if I get to the book!

My husband does the grocery shopping, but I think he just went once to the grocery store and once to the makolet this week. We're in Israel and not hosting anybody, so it's not really different than preparing for a normal shabbos. |
No fire. So you’re really just a sneaky lizard pretending to be a dragon.
Wow that’s great for you!!!! Can he teach my husband how to shop? All he buys are snacks when I send him. 😠

Oh gosh. I’m stuck in my chair. I really need to get up and finish cleaning up. This game is going to destroy me lol.
Are you chasidish? Or very traditional? Growing up we had white only but even my mother goes for color nowadays.
I don’t either do plastic. Just wash every week it takes 2 minutes to spray and throw in.

No sugar, sometimes with milk. 2-3 per day. Ironically, I drink less if I'm very very tired.
How about you?
Does every answer earn another question? 🤣

Assuming you have a lot of friends Miss Social, do you have a best friend? |
I've had a best friend for years. We're at very different life stages right now, so we aren't as close as we used to be.
I have about 4-6 very close friends.

What historical era fascinates you the most? |
Whoops, missed my question so was waiting....
My favorite historical period is the Early Medieval (English history) and the Anglo-Saxon social system.
In Jewish history, it is probably Spain in the time of the fanatical Muslims/almohads.
I'll take another question.

I am catching my breath on the couch right now. I just spent the last 3 hours cleaning up alongside my cleaning lady and I’m exhausted.

I like that era because I’m fascinated by the Vikings. So much of Britain France and the western world has been influenced by the Vikings invasions. But I digress.
In Jewish history I love the churban era pre and post although you didn’t ask. And also the world at large during that time was a fast changing place. The Roman’s invaded the entire world. They spread so much of their intensive knowledge to what is today Germany, Britannia ect. and of course Israel. The world was pagan and Europe was made up of random tribes. (I was in Scotland and saw some craighs (stone circle monuments) of the ancient pagans.)
Ok sorry for the ramble. History excites me.
Next topic.
If you were granted a superpower what would you ask for?

So why did you stop?
I love the look- I think it makes a person look very polished- but hate the annoyance of getting gel off each time for Mikva so now I do just for yt and occasions. Today I did them myself regular Polish.

Oh wow, fascinating. Sounds like you know a lot.
I've never really thought about superpowers, not my thing at all.
Flight or invisibility or x-ray vision just don't excite me....
I would probably just go for super intellect.
