Definitely. Americans are so spoiled. For having unaffordable healthcare. Unaffordable tuition. For having to go back to work six weeks after giving birth or even earlier. For having the highest maternal mortality rate in the Western world. Yup, spoiled rotten.

Agree. My niece came here from Europe to intern in a Manhattan firm. She said on the first day they had swag bags balloons and breakfast. In Europe there would be nothing at all- they’d say welcome get to work

I'm not American, but married to one. American have a totally different standard of expectation than any where else in the world. They probably have to work harder than any where else because their basic expenses of healthcare and education are so high. And then there level of consumerism has just gone so crazy. I am so happy I don't live there it seems like a terrible place to live.

Lol, I'm saying this as an American!! What triggered this post: I'm at the sending to camp stage and I am going crazy from all the "requirements". Where else do kids go to beautiful grounds for a month or two and have 24/7 fun and entertainment, have tens of outfits, get packages from their parents etc etc etc. And the astronomical amount of money being spent for this ??? It's just insane.
