Someone mentioned there about a 6 month follow up visit… I actually have my 6 month follow up appointment coming up bez”H, but as a first time mother, it’s the first time I ever heard of having to go back after 6 months…. What happens at this appointment?

they do a pap smear and a regular annual basically nothing too major its a quick appt.

6 month appointment? Never heard of that. I go back at 6-10 weeks.

I’ve never been to a 6m follow up visit, but my youngest is 5.

My youngest is almost 7m and my ob never mentioned a 6m visit.

I go back 4-6 weeks after a baby and then they make me come in at 6 months also and then yearly for a annual. I guess depends on the practice...

Never heard of 6 mo checkup. Bh , have more than a handful of kids and never been told that. There's a 6 weeks checkup and then a yearly. Unless this is something that is differs with practices.

Probably for a bc pill prescription refill? They usually give for 6 months at a time.
