I can of hearts of palm, sliced
1 can larger size can of corn
1 avacadoe, chopped
3 T chopped purple onion
2 plum tomatoes, chopped

mix together. Add 3 T italian dressing, and 1 T mayo. (you could mix oil and lemon juice and spices instead of dressing, but im just too lazy) chill.

Boy am I glad we do the traditional Shabbos meal of challah, salmon, chicken soup, some kugels and cholent and desert. It's bad enough that I need to get menus and recipe for dinners during the week.

going out for lunch!
For dinner just me and dh.

pita (instead of challah this week)
brocolli and purple onion salad
taco salad
chicken (my husband made)
some watermelon and mangoes for dessert

Just keeping it simple. It's too hot for soup! Didn't have a chance to buy gefilte fish!

I send blondies and rice crispy squares to the family we're eating at for the lunch meal.
