Mandarin Orange Chicken Stir-Fry
from another site
Ingredients
2 T oil, any kind
2 medium onions, chunked
2 med peppers, any kind, sliced
1 pkge chicken cutlets, any kind
11 oz Mandarin oranges, drained into orange juice container (retain 1/4 cup juice)
1 T brown sugar, any
1/4 tsp ginger
In 12 inch skillet, heat oil and sautee onion and pepper. Add your chicken and brown on both sides. Add the fruit and juice, sweetener and spice. Cook until done. Serve with plain rice.
Makes 4 servings. Enjoy !

I brought mandarin oranges from the US last time I came back. Brown sugar u can get from any dietetica. Make sure its "todo natural" It's called azucar [black person]. You might want to ask your rav but that's what my MIL does.

yo;ma and bennysmommy:
brown sugar hass to be dry to be real and not full of coloring which makes it not be kosher. in coto they sell both. the cheapest kind, is dark black sticky sugar, thats fake. the other one costs around $6 for and is really good.
