Just wanted to publicize that I read about a segula on this website.. about tying a note on to the menorah on zos chanuka. I included : hodaa. A bakasha ( 2/3 were answered for sure. Not sure about the third Bec it was for someone else. ) And that I will publicize. Thank you to whoever posted the segula. I can't find the original post ..

Is the segulah just to tie the note, or is it actually davening for what you want and the note is just a "reminder".

It's a kvittel to Hashem that you tie to a menorah which is a davar kedusha during an eis ratzon (zos chanukah).
