Was going to say that. My niece is Odeliya, because her parents felt that Hodaya had become too common. Very similar meanings.

I don't think Odeliya is a jewish name. It's a typical latina name. I've had more than one cleaning lady/cab driver over the years named Odeliya.

Typical depends on your community norms, but she is far from being the only Odeliya I've met.

Some names are so community specific.
For example in many communities the name Rishel is very rare. Lakewood, it's not so unusual. Reb Rishel Kotler (R Shneur's wife) passed away around 10 years ago.
Chasya was one of the Telsher Rebbitzens so there are many Sorotzkin/Blochs, etc running around with Chasya.
Shima was R Moshe Feinstein's wife.
Trany is a Skver name, but in my community it would be very unusual.
And in my community, Yocheved and Basya are quite common. My daughter has multiple of each in her class.

I believe Selah means "a restful pause", and I really like it. Definitely unusual, but would not be unheard of in Israeli DL. Sometimes even Anglo Xtains use it.
