I made stuffed peppers by browning the meat and then stuffing the pepers with the meat and uncooked rice and then poured a sauce over it. I bake it for about 2 hours and the rice is still a little crunchy. Is this normal?? I dont want to overcook them.

Does anyone have an exact tried and true recipe for this? I would like to try this. Can this be done in vegetarian as well?

I make stuffed peppers...
Cook up beans and rice, add some sauteed onion, garlic, other veggies...mix it all together and stuff the peppers. Bake at 350 for about 20-30 minutes.

I'm not so good at cooking yet. I don't know how to just take a little of this and that and mix and cook and viola, yum! :-(

There aren't really any spices in this recipe, so you really can't go wrong. Figure out how much rice and beans you want for your meal, saute 2 onions, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 stalks of celery, and 2 carrots (all diced up).

Thank you so much crayon!
And if I wanna make it w/ ground meat, I can just substitute that for the beans?

Yes.
If you found that you made too much of the "stuff" (like someone I know ), you can just save it for a different use.
