I heard of this. On zos chanukah night, write it down on a paper and put it away with the menorah. Daven also on zos chanukah.

I personally witnessed it. My workmate's son asked for something specific (pretty much a miracle) and it happened within the year. It's amazing!

May all our tefillos be answered.

I davened on zos chanuka to have a baby after a miscarriage and should be born shabbos chanuka and it happened the following yr bh

I heard this for the first time last year. I put a note with the Chanukah stuff (the menorah stays in my breakfront all year and I didn’t want anyone to find it). We were struggling with my difficult son and applying to high school for him and I asked for him to be happy, settled, and doing well. And BH a million times he is!

I’m starting an IVF cycle soon and will ask for a healthy baby by next Chanukah iyH.

May all of our prayers be answered l’tova

Yes I personally have seen big yeshous also from davening in front of menorah and yes zos chanukah huge time definitely out note attached to menorah. Every night of chanukah is huge! Take advantage to sit in front of candles and daven/cry to hashem for what u need/want! (Dont forget to be thankful! Smile Chanukah is only time we're allowed to ask for miracles!! Time of miracles!! Btw there's diff things to daven for every night of chanukah and have in mind...the last night is specifically for barron women. Such a special time to daven for urself or someone u know waiting to have children. I've done it for myself-it definitely worked! Have a beautiful child bh and in my 2nd pregnancy now:) may all our tefillos be answered this chanukah!!!

Thank you for bumping this up! I am the ima who posted I was 3 months pregnant. I had a beautiful healthy daughter who I named Yehudis because of this... This pregnancy was a miracle from start to finish. I'm still in awe about it. Just want to give everyone chizzuk.

Now I"m hyperventilating! someone please calm me down...My daughter spilled her heart out on a message zos chanuka and placed it under the menorah...one of her bakoshes was that I should merit a baby (I happened to have had a second trimester loss that I found out about zos chanuka the year before, though I dont think she knew about my loss...but was itching for another sibling) I dont know what I did with that paper (I never heard about the specifics surrounding this segulah, such as placing with the Menorah for the entire year...) Well I was due December 22 this year (on Chanuka) but unfortunately lost the pregnancy at 21 weeks...Did I inadvertently cause this by not saving the paper? Crying Crying Crying

I do this every zos chanukah with my children. I turn on soft spiritual music and we all spend time writing our hearts out. My husband mistakenly threw the papers out last year but Hashem still accepted my tefillos and this year we'll be lighting with a beautiful healthy 3 month old baby in our arms (the gender I very much desired after many of the other gender).
This year I will beg Hashem for a breakthrough in my inner emotional state.

I’m so sorry for your painful loss. You are afraid that because the segulah wasn’t performed with all the details, the result was only “half-baked”. That is a dangerous misconception possibly bordering on avoda zara.
Segulahs are tools that we can use to help add koach to our tefillos. There is no intrinsic power in the actions themselves; the ikkar is the tefilla. So to think that because part of the action was not done “correctly”, therefore harm was caused, is ascribing power to the action, when in fact the power of the segulah is in the tefilla.
For reasons we don’t know, you were chosen to have this nisayon this year. Perhaps your daughter’s tefillos lessened the severity of the situation; who knows? BeH you should be zoche to yeshuos soon!
