Any advice would be welcome. Why does my chicken soup not come out golden? It’s delicious and very rich tasting but brown. What am I doing wrong?????

Sounds like you're cooking it too long, past the point of golden. That's not bad. My MIL prefers it that way.

Isn’t that better than being clear and watery? This week my soup will be the same as yours! I left mine simmering for waaay too long. It’s good though.

So what’s the recommended time to cook
It. I sound like such a newbie but I’m married over 25 years and still can’t get it right (and yes I cook it overnight)

Bring to boil. Then very low flame for around 6 hours.

I disagree. I cook mine longer than overnight sometimes and it doesn't turn brown. The trick is low and slow for a delicious, golden soup. If the flame is too high it becomes a sorta swampy color.

Yes that another thing let it cook on a low flame (just make sure there’s a simmer) and overnight isn’t till long

Add some onion peel into the soup (obviously washed)
