Gitty is a voracious reader with an excellent level of vocabulary. Continued daily practice of math facts will increase her fluency and confidence. Keep up the good work!

Naomi is a cheerful and spunky student. She would benefit from at-home reinforcement of math skills, including multiplication and addition fluency (e.g. 5 minutes daily practice with flash cards). She would also benefit from more guided reading practice to increase her fluency and comprehension. She is very capable and will surely succeed!

penina is a positive, conscientious student. Her smile brightens the classroom! Penina enjoys reading, which is wonderful. Her reading fluency will surely increase with more focus and practice, such as reading aloud to a parent for a few minutes each night. Keep up the good work!

Dina Devorah has had a [insert praise] year. She excels in [blank] and is careful to [blank]. I would love to see her work to improve [blank]. She can do this by [blank]. Dina Devorah is [more praise] and I am looking forward to seeing her growth second semester. |
In every school I've been to, in Brooklyn and Lakewood only positive comments are used. However I have seen some teachers make comment on a weeker students and I always feel it should be just the opposite. Their are 3 type of kids one kid pits in no effort and gets good marks for those kids its very important to comment about middos to show. However even midos is very generic That getting 100 is not the main point in life. There are those that get good marks because they study very hard. For those student its for sure important to say their hard effort payed off and how good they are doing and for the weekend student its for sure important to comment on something the mark that they succeded. Like a kid who failes every subject but good in social study or has a certain skill acknowledged that skill. Like "sara caring and is a well liked girl (thats good midos but more specific) She showed much success in .....she is a pleasure to teach. may she have continued success on *All* her subjects.
