Just finished my mishmash pre-Pesach meal prep, using up a whole bunch of stuff:
Fake meat and vegetable stir-fry with Teriyaki sauce
Mixed brown and white Jasmine rice
falafel balls
tortelini with tomato sauce
Some kugel I found in the freezer
Salad with balsamic vinaigrette
Squash soup with cider cream
Dessert will be either a brownie trifle or
this layered pudding-mousse thing I recently made. I'll have to decide that pretty soon and start making it.

Sorry this is a week later...
I cook up a box of spaghetti, either soba noodles or reg. whole wheat. The sauce is sesame oil, vinegar, soy sauce, crushed garlic, sugar and red pepper flakes. Cook it up and add corn starch to thicken. Toss the noodles with the sauce, and add sesame seeds (I use regular and black) and either chopped scallions or matchstick-sized cucumbers. Let me know if you want more exact measurements, it's a little different every time.

oh my.
I have almost no food in the house. we were supposed to go away. only found out late thursday night that our shabbos plans fell through.
as of now, I'm making leftover grains/legumes cholent- black eyed peas, kaska, quinoa, red and green lentils, millet, rice, chickpeas...
We have some hake/merloza fish.
Thats about all I know that we're having.
Eeep... Guess we've got a makolet trip tomorow!
I didnt want shabbos at home- I didnt want to have to deal with leftovers and dishes and everything- I already cleaned up my kitchen almost for pesach. All the food right now is in the cupboard thats going to be sold... Oyoyoyoy...

Yum. What kind of brownies?
Only home for one meal, so I'm making
chicken noodle soup (with stock I already have in the freezer)
glazed corned beef
brown rice
broccoli
No dessert. I never make dessert. Does that mean I don't love my family?
