I made a ramen noodle salad a while ago. I don't remember where I took the recipe from. It had romaine lettuce, sunflower seeds and obviously ramen noodles. Anybody have it?

1 package ramen noodles
Romaine lettuce
Slivered almonds
Sunflower seeds
Dressing:
3/4 c. Sugar
3/4. c. Oil
1/4 c vinegar
1 tsp. Soy sauce
1 package seasoning from noodle soup
It's delicious. When I asked my kids before what salad I should make this week they requested this one. That's why I needed the recipe.

It says 3/4 cup oil and 1/4 cup oil. It’s a mistake. What is the correct oil amount and what is the other item?

Mistake corrected. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

That’s a lot of sugar, no wonder your kids like it!

You could probably use sweetener instead.
I never use sugar in dressing, also because sweetener dissolves so much more easily than sugar.

I am quite literally eating a salad with ramen noodles at this moment. (I'll even post a pic to prove it!). I need an exciting protein to make me want to eat salad but I don't like to eat chicken in the middle of the day, so yesteday I made a few pieces of salmon (Dinner Done cookbook, maple/garlic recipe). I put romaine, cole slaw mix, and the salmon. For the dressing, I just sprinkle a bit of rice vinegar - I got the garlic one - and a bit of sesame oil (really, just a drizzle). I add the broken up ramen, shake, and eat! On Shabbos, I had the same thing but with grilled boneless skinless chicken breast (which had bbq sauce as it grilled). This is so simple, so easy to throw together at work, and so good.

This looks interesting - is the ramen cooked?

Nope! It's right out of the package. I do not use the seasoning packet, and I add just a bit on the top and then add more as I go because it gets soggy.
