Shwarma Sauce

My son loves how it tastes...

and getting him to eat chicken is not easy..

any suggestions on how to make the sauce?

Is it a sauce, or a spice rub? I've never heard of an actual shawarma sauce, other than techina that is usually included.

It probably consist of curry, cumin, coriander, and a bit of cinnamon.

ok so what do you do??

I know you take the skin off of the chicken and cut into small pieces...then what? just rub with the spices above? and bake?

I'd probably put the chicken in a bag with some olive oil and mix the spices into the bag and let it marinate for a bit. I'd also sautee some onions and bake it with the chicken.

I buy it ready marinated in Landau's on 18th Avenue. It has the spices mixed with oil and they sell it as a pack of 3-4 boneless baby chicken bottoms. I throw it on the grill, indoor or out, or on broil in the oven. I cut it up after it's done. It's also the only chicken my kids eat. I have made it myself with ready Schwarma spice-a few I sraeli companies sell it- and can you shmear a little oil first to keep it very moist.
