Ds wanted to make the Chulent this week.
He made it after I went to bed. I didn’t realize that he poured a half a bottle of franks hot sauce. I never, ever use any hot sauce.
It cooked overnight.
This morning I woke up to a strange smell.
I lifted the pot cover and while it smells a bit like Chulent, it has a strong smell of hot sauce. I tasted a drop and it’s really too sharp for chulent.
Personally I hate hot sauce, maybe some people will like it but we’re having guests and I don’t think they would appreciate this sharp flavor.
What could I use to slightly cover it up?

Can you add in more potatoes or lots of barley?

Can you still add meat, potatoes, and water?

I wish but I don’t have any more potatoes or meat. I’ll add more water though.

Add water and then spoon it out with a ladle.
The other day I put vinegar in my ground beef while cooking it so I did that and it worked.
