Homemade Kishka from Nshei Chabad Newsletter
I was looking for a kishka recipe on this site as I like this one the best and I thought I posted it. I could not find it, so here goes:

4 carrots, cut up
4 stalks celery, cut up
2 onions, cut up
pinch of salt

Boil until soft, then put vegetable into your food processor blender. Retain the water to add for processing. You can also use the liquid in your chicken soup if you want to, or you can add it to your cholent.

3 1/2 cups flour
2 T baking powder
3-4 T paprika
oil as desired (recipe calls for 2 sticks of margarine but you just need a little oil, since your vegetables are liquidy)

In food processor or blender, add the veggie mixture as above and the dry ingredients. Process until smooth. You can add back some of the water instead of oil, too.

Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes. Add to cholent as desired. Freezes well, too.

There’s a similar recipe in the Lubavitcher purple cookbook that is much easier because it doesn’t require you cook the vegetables.
