I agree, I also find it easier to mix the ingredients in a bowl, mixing in a 9 x 13 is much harder.

I find mixing in a 9x13 easier with thicker batters like chocolate chip bars rather than thin batters like brownie or cake. I made the oatmeal squares and it was so easy and awesome not to have dishes to wash

I prefer using parchment paper on 9x 13 or all aluminium pans. (read about alumnium and alzheimer)

Gets complicated when mixing inside pan over parchment.

Doable, imagine some flour going under parchmetn paper.

So yes, easy and quick if no parchment paper, but happy to wash a mixing b and a spatula.

Book has brilliant easy ideas!

I like the oatmeal bars in the 9x13 section
I wasnt really impressed by anything else. I dont need a potato recipe that calls for onion powder salt and pepper, thats basic to me.

What did you try from it that you really enjoyed?

I'm the type that can't handle my kids baking because of the mess... Well, were loving the 9x13 recipes and those are the only recipes that I'm ok with my kids making, even on a short Friday afternoon Surprised
