Sunday : grilled chicken, pasta salad
Monday: turkey sandwiches, pasta salad, cantaloupe
Tuesday : meatballs and pasta in sauce. Simple Veggie salad with leftover grilled chicken mixed in

It’s a real pasta week here but it goes better than rice or any potatoes

Heidi can we get the tuna steak recipe please? I've got a pack of frozen tuna steaks in my freezer.

Slice and saute about 3 onions (recipe is for 4 tuna steaks) . Add 3 tsps brown sugar and carmelize on low for about 15 minutes. Add 1.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar and cook till liquid evaporates, about 2 minutes.
Sear tuna steaks sprinkled with Montreal steak spice for about 1 minute on each side. Serve topped with onions

Here’s my recipe for tuna steaks:

Marinate tuna steaks in sesame oil and a bit of soy sauce And lemon juice.. Sear on both sides in frying pan with black pepper, any spices of your choice and top with sesame seeds.

During day I only have young kids home, so no they don't fix themselves meals. I have to sit them down for meals. We have a schedule. Before calling in to their morning session for learning, I fix them breakfast. On their break time, they get lunch, & right after their second learning session they get snack.

Yeah, I forgot that when my kids were little and they were home for the summer, I did plan a snack. Not breakfast though.

None of my meals are lavish at all. I try one carb, protein, and vegetable.

I was never too much into frozen food, but I wish I can sometimes. My son made himself frozen raviolis yesterday. Had those. Smile

The fajitas I’m making are canned because that’s what I have. I bh don’t have to make the tortillas this week because we got some. The gnocchis I’m serving with sauce and cheese. I love it when it’s made into shlishkes, but that’s not much of a meal. My grandmother used to make it.
