I was going to say lobster bisque, fingerling potatoes, fresh french butter rolls, steamed asparagus and sliced Gouda for sharpness but then I saw the word "honest" in the title and that changed everything for me...😉

So, vegetable chicken patties, a pasta and broccoli.

Cheesy "souffle" with sauteed veggies. It's not a real souffle but that's what my mom called it. I'm making it to use up stale challah.

You guys must be so hot!! Hug
Cheese layered sandwiches (cheese slices, tomato slices, smear, touch of basil, garlic, salt)
Strips of deli over salad with croutons
Maybe keep crackers, peanut butter, beef jerky, tuna packets & mayo packets, and other non perishables in the house.
What's the ETA for the power? Sad

Love your "honesty" Jewishfoodie! Very Happy
You would also have to change your SN for the upper menu Wink

She could do this menu with fake lobster. I am still waiting for fake shrimp to appear on the supermarkets around here.

What do they call fake lobster? I'm guessing fauxbster?

Mock lobster? The bisque recipe is heavy on other ingredients. I think it is doable. What do you do with the gouda cheese?

I bought a jar of kosher scampi sauce. I am waiting for fake shrimp. I know it exists because I read an article promoting it and have had it in a Monsey restaurant.

I never made it before either. You set me up for a challenge. Where did you get this menu? I guess the gouda is for the French cheese course.

It was a random list of food I'd be in the mood of IF IT WERE kosher. Yeah.. I know fingerling potatoes and bread are kosher. It's the soup that pulls it all together for me...

From KBD Teens

1 box large pasta shells (not jumbo), cooked & drained (I like gemelli pasta, but you can use any)
10 oz frozen spinach, defrosted 2 min in micro & squeezed out
15 oz ricotta cheese
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cups marinara sauce, divided
4 oz shredded cheese

Spread 1 cup sauce in a greased pan. Set aside.
Combine spinach, ricotta, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Add rinsed pasta and mix well. Spread the mixture over the sauce in the pan.
Top with remaining 1 cup of marinara sauce. Sprinkle the shredded cheese last.
Bake uncovered in oven preheated to 350 until cheese is bubbly, around 30-35 minutes.
