Not perfectly precise, but each ounce is a bit over 3 tbsp.
2 oz is about 6.5 tbsp.

1/4 ounce of yeast is 2+1/4 teaspoons according to what I've always seen on the back of yeast packages. Multiply 2.25 teaspoons by 4 and you get 9 teaspoons, which is 3 tablespoons. So I agree with amother salmon, but cannot figure out why she's anonymous.

If a recipe calls for an ounce of fresh yeast, it is equivalent to 1 heaping Tablespoon of dry yeast.

Gneshe, 1oz fresh yeast is 3 tablespoons dry yeast, not 1.
