Yesterday was chicken soup with lots of chickpeas and noodles for kids. And lots of fruit of course.
Adults have crispie chicken in the grill (than you mommy3b2c. Adults here LOVE it!) With mashed potaotes and fruit.

Today, kids had cut up veggies, left kver larve chulent from shabbos. Then later a snack if Apple and pretzels.

Adults will probably have cut up veggies or veggie salad and breaded cutlets in the Grill w mashed potatoes (that's the only side dh likes as a side. Then I sometimes make an additional but it's always with mashed potaotes. Lol)

I discovered a money saving trick, when I buy ground chicken. The packs that have a mixture of light & dark are almost half price of the ones that are either dark or light. Comes out super soft.

Leftovers from shabbos- soup and kugel, and chulent for the kids.
Tomorrow morning I want to put up a crockpot I already prepared in the fridge, chicken with a tomato sauce mixture.

Slice a large onion, put on bottom of crockpot. Put in the meat. Pour bottle of BBQ sauce on top and cook for 24 hrs. Shred with forks.

Taco Tuesday (pareve taco “meat” and real cheese. I use spinach for half of the shredded lettuce and blend it right in, no one knows!).

Similar recipe, but I only use half a bottle BBQ sauce plus some water and cook only 10 -12 hours.
Serve on buns or as meat pizza

I work late on Tuesdays, so dh is in charge of dinner. I think he's making baked chicken in duck sauce and I made zucchini kugel and carrot muffins for dessert.

The Butcher here calls it "ground chicken mix"
Super cheap. Super soft. But can be hard to work with as its very very soft even when raw.
So I use a scooper to make patties for fushirt or meatballs.
Boule the sauce, take a scoop and drop it into boiling sauce so it keeps its round shape. If I try shaping it by hand it never holds.

When working with type of meat/chicken I wear gloves and Pam the gloves I get nice meatballs or hamburgers also keep repaming your gloves when u see it starting to stick again.
