Does nobody here do a simple supper on Thursday night?
What's mock tradition soup?
And yes, I do simple Thursday suppers- pasta, frozen pizza, grilled cheese, eggs... Tonight it's ziti, leftover vegetable soup, and a plate of baby carrots, sliced cucumbers and grape tomatoes. No one touched the soup, though I'm sure DH will, and the vegetable plate still looks mighty full. Do I get credit for nutrients that were not consumed?
Oh, and I started to make oatmeal cookies for Shabbos. The dough is in the mixing bowl and I'm sure it's being noshed on.

Mock tradition soup is just noodle soup with those little frozen veggies (corn, carrots, etc), consomme mix and salt. Tastes like tradition soup.
And yes, you definitely get credit for the veggies. Just like you should lose weight every time you don't eat junk.
We should be friends.

Sautéed an onion. Add a clove of crushed garlic and what ever other veggies are going soft by Thursday. Pour in your favorite marinara and spice (salt, pepper, garlic) wait until marina heats. Make wells in the marinara and pour a cracked egg into each one (depends on the size of your pan. Sprinkle with feta cheese. Cover and cook until white of eggs are set. Serve with fresh pita.
