Sure, I don't follow a recipe but this is how I did it and was heaven
I bag frozen brussels sprouts
a lot of garlic (around half a head) cut lenghtwise in 1/3 pcs
Sliced mushrooms
Sliced onions
Olive oil, black pepper, salt and spice as you like I did parsley flakes and basil

Roast on around 425-450

We polished it off in seconds!

We also love roasted Brussels sprouts but I'm always afraid to add anything other than olive oil, salt and pepper for fear that the other ingredients (especially garlic) will burn at the high roasting temperature needed to brown the sprouts. How do you prevent then from burning? Do you add them mid-way?

Please post recipe for meat shells-sounds yum!

Sure!

1 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 package jumbo pasta shells
1/2 jar marinara sauce

Cook pasta according to directions on box. Mix meat with ketchup, garlic and onion powder; spoon meat mixture into shells. Pour some sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Place meat-filled shells on top of sauce. Pour remainder of sauce over shells. Cover tightly; bake at 350 for 1 to 1.5 hours.

Probably omelettes (cheese/plain/red pepper & onion), Israeli salad, toasted pita, fruit.

We tend to eat our larger meals mid-day and have light dinners.

And we rarely do any heavy cooking mid-week.

We all had curried lentil soup. That was it for me, but DD had turkey meatloaf and roasted baby peppers after.

Dinner last night was 'kids choice'. Two chose frozen pizza, one made himself a panini in the sandwich maker, one had an egg.

My husband and I had brown rice pasta with zucchini and scrambled eggs.

Tonight will be meat lasagna for everyone except for my one little guy who doesn't like pasta. He'll probably have yogurt and cereal.

You can lay it in the pan under the brussels sprouts and mix it midway it really adds a ton of flavor, try it youll love it

My kids had done breaded cutlets on the gorgeous Forman. With cut up veggies. Only one ate the veggies.
They had had cereal and almond breeze an hour before becuase they didn't want supper yet. So they weren't too hungry.

Adults had plain chicken bottoms on the goerge Forman. Veggy soup and mashed potaotes. (It wasn't ready for the kids)

One Sunday kids had PB sandwiches with american cheese. Cut up veggies.

Today will be Veggy soup. Not sure yet what else yet. There are some really good ideas here! Yummy and quick.
