I am just out of tomatoes. I wonder is there a recipe for tomato dip using tomato puree?
By the way I prefer the dip not to be too liquid.

The only one I know of is to make salsa by sauteeing onions and jalapenos and adding the tomato puree and some lime or lemon juice and simmer it down together until you're happy with the texture.
Or you could use it as the base for an eggplant dip by adding broiled eggplant, peppers, onion, cumin, and carrots.
