Hi! My children and my special Ed students love playing with slime/silly putty. However, I've found that even the expensive ones make a mess and stain clothing. Any comparable sensory media that's mess free?

My sister used something like this. The more resistant it is the less is can rub into other things.

What about that ballie sticky one? It doesn't really stick in a way that stains. There's also more texture for sensory input.
Something like this

The foam putty looks good. Anyone have experience with it, and could tell me if it doesn't stain clothing?

We've bought it at the local variety shop and it doesn't stain/stick to clothes. It dries out after a while and the foam balls can dislodge but it's fun.

Corn starch mixed with water makes a huge mess but is super easy to clean up and does not stain at all. It’s great fun; when you squeeze it in your hand it’s solid but when you take away the pressure it turns to liquid and drips down.

Thera putty. It’s thicker and harder than regular silly putty, but still the kids like it. I had it in my classroom in the sensory corner.

Another vote for theraputty. It's firmer so it doesn't lodge into fabric the way silly putty does. The foam balls type is ok but the balls can get annoying, they separate and get around. Not terrible but not at all like putty either.
