I need a poem (any length, any kind) to send home with my yom kippur project. It's a magnet with the tefila for parents to say for their children. Something about davening for our children on yom kippur???.....

That's hysterical!!! Thanks, but can anyone think of a little more serious one? No, I don't want to pay- I can think of one myself really, but I'm too tired.

How about this:
Yom Kippur is a holy time
For Teshuva and to pray
That in the coming year
Only good will come our way.
Parents add a special tefila
Filled with many tears
They ask Hashem for brachos
For their children so dear.

techie ur hysterical.
I don't know if ur still looking but I love poems so...
Once a year, on yom kippur
opportnity is granted
to daven for assistance
in all that we've been handed
On this special day,
lets take the time to ask
for the kochos and brochos needed
for this most important task.
Avinu malkeinu
beseech our father above
for only He truly knows
the gift of a childs love.
One needs abundant blessings
as you nurture and you sow
this special little Neshama
that will blossom as it grows.
"Father in Heaven
as your child I turn to you
show me
guide me
give me strength
Avinu Malkeinu"

Hashem, please help my children grow
And guide them in the way they go.
Fill them with fear and love for You
And may they always be Torah true.
As I start my year with a clean slate,
I pray that bracha be their fate.
In the merit of our ancestors many years before,
My children too should receive good this Yom Kippur.
Ok, a little forced, but I needed to do a poem; it's been too long.

Thanks, technic.
I'm actually cringing as I re-read it. I used to write poems but I think I lost my touch
