What do I need in order to apply for professional license in NY? Right now I have my initial license, it already expired once and I just renewed it because I had no idea about the requirements for professional. I know there are some kind of hours required, does it have to be mentored? Who can be my mentor? How do I log/prove the hours? Are there any other requirements?
I would like to apply for certification in NJ too. Do I need to take any kinds of tests? Is there an application process? Where? How? Should I wait until I have my NY professional license and then I could just convert it?

P.S. Don't waste any more time. My understanding is that renewing once is easy, after that they don't just do it for anyone.
