If you are in Manchester, I can give you the name of a guy who will come to your house and sort out the problem for you.

I would have thought that going to your landlord was the first option, it really is his responsibility.
I think it was about £30 for a call out. I was far too squeemish to deal with the trapped mice myself, so I had him back a few times, but you really only need him once, to put the poison and traps down. By the way, if you have a crawling baby or a toddler, you have to put the stuff in awkward, difficult to get to places, like behind the washing machine etc, so that makes it slightly more difficult.
PM me if u want the number.

ever heard about the "Micer Rebbe"?
I just printed his photo from google images, cuz I'm moving.
They say (and I know a few ppl who had big problems until they did this) that if you hang up his photo in the house, he'll chase away all the mice.
here is the link to his photo:

We have it bad too. It has been so oerwhelming, and discusting that I have learned to live with it.
This will gross you out but......I setr out three traps a night. If I am up I will catch the three, empty thier poor little bodies int the trash, wash the traps set em again, and continue. One night we caugt over ten.
It was suggested that we hire an exterminator, but the poison simply kills them and they die in the houses walls. I want to get them out of my house bercause I am allergic.
BOY CAN I RELATE!!!

hi Tila,
I understand the mouse allergies - I have them too - but - you may still want to consider getting an exterminator. the allergies usually come mostly from the mouse urine and some from their skin. But if theyre dead - they cant give off these things anymore. speak to an allergist - you really should not have to live like that.
also - you may want to use things that repel them by smell. Bounce super stinky dryer sheets keep them away from areas where those are placed. Also stores sell repellent that you can sprinkle or spray that will keep em away (let 'em find another place to live!)
good luck!

my god
this friday night I saw a mouse leaving my kitchen
making a turn into the hall way
and heading to my bedroom
I cried and was besides myself
as as long as I thought they were in the kitchen I could sort of deal with it
but that was too much
I couldnt fall asleep it was crazy and that was after the exterminater was in my house on friday and put down TONS of poison and tons of traps
on mozai shabos we saw another one , but we have not caught a single mouse yet with all the traps,
anyone know if the thing from sharper image helps?
I would give it a try if it helps
p.s. we have no idea where they are coming from as we see no holes

These mice dont go on the glue traps, they dont eat the poison, Im at a loss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What should I do?? Im so paranoid lately, I can be anywhere not even in my house and I see something move, I jump!! does anyone have any practical advice and can anyone relate!!!

I just saw one in my house tonight. We tried to catch/chase it out. I HATE mice.I don't want the glue traps b/c I don't want to be the one to find it struggling on the trap, nor do I want to find a dead one or live or any!!!

call back the exterminator. they should reexamineyour house again if mice are still coming despite the holes being plugged up.
You should still put out the glue traps - let dh deal with throwing them out.

we bought rat zappers. theyre good for mice and rats
http://www.amazon.com/Rat-Zapp.....LE2DY
basically its a box with an opening at one end and u put food in the otehr end. on the way to the food the mouse sets off an electric current that kills it instantly. since its in the box u dont see it dead and theres a light that flashes when a mouse is caught. u can either empty it urself and try not to look or wait till ur hubby gets home.
it runs on batteries - u can use rechargeables - so as long as theyre not dead the zapper is working and u dont have to constantly buy traps.
every time weve seen a mouse we made sure the batteries were working and within 24 hrs - usually that night - the mouse was caught.
theyre expensive = but the glue traps add up over time - when we were infested I would buy 30 glue traps a week!
the worst thing about the glue traps was on shabbos watching them suffer and then 2 hrs b4 shabbos was over theyd get off. also my kids would constantly find them and...

on shabbos I would never leave traps out because you cant trap an animal on shabbos.

we didnt set the traps on shabbos they were just alwys there and we didnt remember until a mouse was caught.
when we had bad infestation we had 40 traps around the house. erev shabbos we didnt think to go collecting and where would we keep them that we had space and mice wouldnt go. if thyere glue traps u cant pile them up

hatzlacha! | I've heard of this from many, including my mother. BUT, I can't figure out how a Rebbe's picture can be used to prevent and scare away mice!
Isn't this a Boosha to the Rebbe?
