I live in a new construction duplex for almost three years. I constantly hear what sounds like very fast scampering at night but I see no signs of mice. Is it even possible to have mice in new houses?? I’m imagining it’s in the walls but how would I even get it? I can’t call an exterminator if I’ve never even see one! My neighbors (even the attached) don’t have any problems so could it just be the pipes?

I don’t see why a mouse couldn’t get into a new building just the same as an old one, they don’t discriminate
If you wear what sounds like a mouse, it most likely is. Check to see if there’s any cracks or holes outside they could be coming in from, and put traps all over. Or just call exterminator to investigate it for you
