ditto remember. once you rip a pad into half the inside is flushable all it is is cotton whatever. YOU cannot just do it whole though,
I have not had a blocked pipe yet!

Cardboard tampons are flushable nothing wrong with doing it

I also had such a hard time in school and I always wondered what everyone else did.
At that age, having your period was such an embarrassing, private thing and there were no garbages in the bathroom and no pockets in our uniforms.
Every time I needed a change it was so complicated to get to the bathroom with the pad hidden and disposing it without my classmates seeing.
Why wasn't the school more sensitive to the privacy needs of adolescent girls... I remember some days I just wouldn't change my pad the WHOLE DAY until I got back home again after school!

my high school had a pads and tampon machine that was free!! it was great and of course garbage cans in each stall.

well all you embarrassed school girl amothers must belong to the same generation as yours truly.
nowadays those schoolgirls have no embarrasment.
A 15 yr old girl I know tells me that the girls walk into a classroom and anounce "I'm in a rotten mood and I just got my period"
