Now that you can edit as amother go back to your initial post, select edit, and then add many poll options. Make the last option "other" just in case it doesn't work!

Elizabeth Taylor would be "other", based on comments above she was a size 3 months

She was 35-21-36. IOW, her hips were almost double the 19 inches that you keep touting.
Look at a piece of looseleaf paper. That's 8-1/2 x 11. To have 19 inch hips, your hips would need to be about as wide, side to side, as the paper. Probably less when you account for width (front to back) and at least a tiny bit of extra for derriere.
Oh well. I don't know why I'm arguing with you. Its not productive.
So, like both of you- I'm a size larger hips than the rest of me. I'd be a size 6 (If I didn't have hips that are perfect for bearing children, as a Caribbean dressmaker once told me. I asked her to alter my wedding gown so my hips wouldn't stick out and she said "I can alter and alter honey, but those hips are always gonna stick out. You was built to have children.....)
So, when are you gonna launch your collection!?! For frum pear-shaped women who actually bear children? (cuz I'm convinced that the size 2 ladies in Lakewood with the Bugaboo double strollers are actually toting around plastic replica dolls. There's no way they've given birth twice......)
debsey
I've actually been thinking about it recently. But I'm afraid that it's such a niche market that it won't be a viable idea I would entertain sewing for others, though.
I never thought about the bearing children aspect of it. That must be why I never had to push for more than 5-10 minutes

Did you do that on your last poll option? Once the voting starts, only a mod can fix it.

Two is not a size; it's a condition.

I really hope that you're not saying that there is something wrong with people who are a size two.

I'm a size 2x. Really fashionable , always look just so ,( hear it from my family n friends). Like my sister in law once said: you are so well dressed, and fun to be around , you don't even act like a size 2xlarge!
My reply to the above? " I'm sorry but plus size women are human beings with great qualities , lots of self esteem and bubbly all over."

I am so sorry to hear about your sister-in-law's condition. There is no cure for foot-in-mouth disease.

I'd take a page out of Winston Churchill's book and say something like "I may one day lose weight but your tact problem is here to stay....."

Thanks for all your support but I'm not taking it to heart. The first thing I say when I'm having company is a joke about my size!!! My size doesn't define my character . Actually I'm a great lawyer defending plus sizers.

Anyway, sizing is weird. I often wear an XS in tops, but in skirts if I tried to squeeze into an XS, I would probably cut off my circulation and pass out in the dressing room. And I think I look normal with a proportionate body, not like I look different on bottom than on top. So sizing is dumb.

Sure all women can be beautiful IMO. I was just pointing out that the pear shape is having a cultural moment since some women were lamenting being that shape!
