Skinny is not always flat, you can have a great hourglass shape and be skinny.
Have you never seen super skinny people with nice figures?
I have!

Why was I amother?

This forum is coming up automatically anonymous. I agree with you, but the RW world doesn't go for it. I know many skinny people with beautiful figures. My family is full of them BH, but the RW always say yes she is skinny her waist is 19 inches, but it would be prettier if her waist was the same size! STUPID STUPID people your hips and breasts are supposed to be 10 inches larger than your waist!! that is what is pretty!!!

Really? why?

As about the RW world, I never heard something like this before! The flatter the better?

But they like a REAL figure: beautiful hips, breasts, and behinds. They want the hourglass whereas RW like the SICK flat no curves at all look which is IMHO gross.

Every individual is different. And models really have bad flat figures...

Wow, what's with the anti-skinny vibe? I'm 5"7, have a great metabolisim BH, and I'm a 2-4. Yes, I did actually birth 3 kids, no I'm not made of plastic, and I consider myself a pleasant person. Sorry if I offended anyone today by walking down the same street as them.

Using US standard size charts, a size 0 is a 23 inch waist, maybe a little less in some stores. A 19 inch waist is a children's size. This is a 19 inch waist:

If you know people who think a woman should have a 19 inch waist, then I fear that they are actually pedophiles, attracted to young children rather than to women.

Just to let you know that when I got married my waist was 19 inches. I did not look like that woman, and my waist is now 21 inches and I still don't look like that woman or anything close to her!! That picture makes me want to vomit!!! Actually, people consider me skinny, but when they want to borrow something from me and I inform them that I'm a 0/2 they never can believe it. I always get "Oh I knew you were skinny, but I didn't realize that you were really skinny" As I said, my family is just small boned. We have chicken legs and arms. My grandmother got married at 5'9 weighing 92 pounds and NO NO NO NO she did not look anorexic and experienced the same thing of "oh I knew you were skinny, but never realized how skinny" For some reason because we have BH nice figures with 32C/D breasts and normal hips a lot of people dismiss that are skinny. I also have a friend who was a size 12 and weighed only 115 pounds because she also had small small bones with skinny feet, and I guess bone weight makes a difference. That also affects sizes.

I actually think that the women with the nicest figures are the tall ones that are 6-8.

Also when a 0 is a 23 inch waist it means the measurements, the waist has to be smaller to fit otherwise it would be cutting off circulation (so it means that the wearer is 19-21 inches).

Barbara that is definitely a mistake........
A 0 runs from 21-23 inches depending on the company. Whoever is wearing is has to be smaller otherwise the clothing will cut off their circulation. A 3 month old baby does not have 19 inch waist......... Elizabeth taylor was 19 inches and many were even smaller than her. Some skinny lady has like a 12 inch waist an is trying to make it smaller!! FECH

The RW frum world is obsessed with flat and small. They don't even understand the beauty of a woman's figure. They don't go for an hourglass so consider 29,19,29 to not even "skinny" even though it fits in a 0. They like measurements like 24,22,24 Flat chested, small waist, no hips and behind. It's so stupid that they can't appreciate the beauty of a woman's body shape!

I think it's a little stupid that you are categorizing an enormous group of people and making the assumption that they all like the same thing.

You're wrong. They're not talking about the measurement of the GARMENT, they're talking about who it will fit.

And Elizabeth Taylor's waist was 21 or 22 inches, depending who you believe. Not 19.
