I have a package of ground chicken & need to make something. Lasagna, tacos are out because DH is on a diet & the kids won't eat them. I've read all the other threads on ground chicken ideas.

Thanks.

Lasagna?? Isn't the main part of lasagna the cheese?
I assume you mean substituting the cheese for meat. wow, interesting! Never heard of it but sounds good!

Great for diets (and pesach)!
Make a dietetic meatball mixture and cook a vegetable soup towards the end of the cooking, drop in TINY balls of the mixture and it will cook in the soup. On pesach this is a hearty soup and when dieting, it’s the perfect lunch. It has the protein and the vegetables and fills up!

Well, I got these ideas too late. CM- tacos are not on his meal plan. As for lasagna, he can have 1 c of pasta with his meal so it's kinda hard to measure a piece of lasagna. As for veggies my kids eat - corn (if its a veggie) or cucumber.

I made chicken meatballs. They were a little drier than beef but nice anyway. I served it with rice.

I make a meat lasagne all the time, just don't use cheese or use the pareve stuff.

Parev lasagna is very good. I make a tomato-meat sauce & a pareve bechamel.
