Do you have a mouse with a scroll button? Check to see if it is stuck or broken (try a different mouse). Also, the monitor may be going bad.

Reminds me of the shikkur who was trying to open a door with his key and was not getting it. Someone offered to take the key from him and open the door, so he said "no, you just hold onto the door and make sure it doesn't shake!"

Oy oy. Ok first of all what kind of mouse do you have? The red light (laser) version or the one with a ball under it, that requires a mousepad?

1 – you might want to try putting a piece of cardboard under your mouse and see if it makes a difference. Sometimes the mouse decides to become in a bad mood and not want to communicate with your mouse pad anymore. Get him a new mate!
Secondly, you may have some spyware junk on your computer, which is using up your CPU usage (your computer thinking space). And you should start running an anti-virus scan, and more. What are you currently using to keep your computer virus free. Norton? Symantec?

Ok first thing, update the virus definitions if it’s not up to date. Then run a full system scan. Then if that doesn’t help (after a reboot) then you will need to check for spyware…
