My printer is giving me problems, it makes these weird scratchy noises and then tells me there is a jam, there is no jam. I unplugged it the same thing happens, any advice

If you already took out the paper jam then unplugging and waiting 20 seconds before plugging it in makes the printer ‘forget’ about its previous ailments.
If you did that and it still says JAM then there is a paper jam. Perhaps when you yanked out the paper earlier, you left a teeny piece. Maybe you shifted he roller around and it’s not aligned?
