If you have a hand blender/food processor you can do tomato dip, olive dip (green or black), spinach dip, humus.
Tehina doesn't need any special appliances.
If you have time to bake/roast before blending you can do babaganoush, garlic dip.

Matbucha like dip
1 onion diced
6 cloves of garlic
2 cans of diced tomato
half a tea spoon of salt
1 tablespoon of sugar
Saute onion and garlic with a little bit of oil till almost burning, put the rest of ingredients and 2 cups of water and simmer in very low flame for some hours, till is almost burning again and then keep mixing for a little bit of time.if you want you can add some pepper before its ready or olive oil after, adjust salt and sugar how you like, those are approximate measurements.
Enjoy

I start with mayo, vinegar, sugar and a frozen garlic cube. Then I add:
frozen dill cubes, or chili cubes, or sliced olives, or blended olives. Voila, now you have dip!

I take a can of olives, a garlic clove, a squirt of Dijon mustard and process in the mini chopper. If I have capers sometimes I add a few.

Olive Dip
1 can pitted green olives, drained
3 garlic cloves
1/3 cup mayonnaise
Blend in blender. (Do not add salt )
Tomato Dip
2 over-ripe tomatoes
2 small garlic cloves
1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeds removed (optional)
2 Tbsp olive oil
salt & pepper, to taste
Process tomatoes, garlic and jalapeno in food processor. Using an olive oil drip dispensor, drizzle the olive oil in very very slowly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

you can make or buy pesto; it's herbs, garlic, salt and pepper, and oil. eat plain or with mayo.
you can mix mayonaise and balsamic vinegar; dd said she made that up.
babaganoush is easy with a nuked eggplant, ground with mayo and garlic. salt and pepper to taste.
guacamole - avocado with tomato and mayo and lemon

ketchup and mayonaise is a great dip/ sauce for many things. I use it as salad dressing, sauce for baked salmon, sauce for baked potatoes and more. Add salt and/or sugar to taste!
Easy and delicious!!!

I do an olive dip similar to ra_mom's recipe, but with olive oil instead of mayo. it has a different consistency, more like a tapenade, but I think it's yummy. I also add a dash of cayenne pepper.
