Having surgery. Need to stock freezer.... Any ideas?

Well it might be less painful just to stock your freezer at the supermarket, but if you insist. .... My first suggestion would be an appendectomy. After that consider removing those internal organs you have two of like kidneys.

Due date right before rosh hashana. cook and freeze?

Probably. When Rosh Hashana is so early, the weather is very changeable and it's hard to know how to dress and whether and how high/how long to set the air conditioning. Depending on what happens and where we are, we will either cook or freeze and possibly both.
