Does anybody know where I can find a very warm winter jacket online for 7 year old dd? I am just not seeming to find anything impressive at all, everything I see seems to be sort of flimsy. She is small and thin and tends to feel very cold I have seen others with the jackets I mean, you know, high quality, thick, with a soft microfiber lining type of thing.... TIA!

ok, will look, although last year I had ordered a few and was not so impressed with quality or warmth. Have you tried them?

Gap always has the 'warmest coat' down jackets.
its filled with down and has the fleece warm inside.
Im not sure what they have left at this point but my friends recently bought their girl jacket/coat for under $20!
Good luck and keep us posted!

LL Bean. Try Burlington Coat Factory as well.

I'd have to agree---Lands End. The nice thing about their site is that they list the temperature ratings for their jackets; http://www.landsend.com/pp/gir......html
My daughter has this jacket and she complains that it's too hot. Right now most outerwear is 50% off, check on retailmenot.com for any additional coupons.

I second this. I don't know if they still make them with down anymore though, I know last year they didn't so I went on E bay. I bought three and they were all in beautiful brand new looking condition. My kids don't get cold in these and they come in different styles. They have them in knee length as well as short, with or without fur trim hoods. I'm looking now for next year already because I love them so much.

I also like the GAP jackets. Last year they weren't down, but I noticed that this year they are again
