Anyone know any recipes? For shredded cabbage, please. Cooked also okay.

folks, learn to read your ingredients - commercial mayo has sugar already in it! I make my coleslaw dressing with vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt.

Slice red cabbage. I add carrots slices sometimes as well. Oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. That's it.

This is a great recipe from OldYoung. My family loves it! I use red wine vinegar, no olives & add slivered almonds also. Its easy and delicious.
****Confetti Slaw (Cumin) -oldyoung
1 bag shredded purple cabbage
1 medium tomato, chopped
1/3 c. green olives (with pimentos), sliced
1 sm. red onion
handful sunflower seeds
Cumin Dressing:
1/4 c. oil (I like to use juice from the olive jar and then add a little oil)
2 T. tarragon or wine vinegar
3/4 t. salt
1/2 t. ground cumin
1 sm. clove of garlic, crushed
dash of pepper
Mix ingredients, pour cumin dressing over salad and toss. (If I'm in a rush, I skip the red onion and tomato, substitute garlic powder for the crushed garlic, and the salad still tastes great.
Enjoy!

That sounds like a great recipe, saralea. A pity I didn't wait to read it before I made the salad. I hope what I made turns out edible, and I'm going to save your recipe for another time.

I use Trader Joe's reduced fat mayo---NO sugar in it.

Thank you for the mayo info! I too am always searching for a sugar free mayo. I would love one without canola, corn, soy, or cotton seed oil too, but I guess beggars can't be choosers.
I like red cabbage with an asian style dressing.
Sesame oil
Soy sauce
Rice vinegar
ginger, fresh or powder
garlic powder
I add baby corn because my three year old girl smiles at me and says "oh mommy my favorite!" and picks out only those. Her brother picks them out too and gives them to her.

I make a very lightly braised one which gets it's sweetness from caramelized onions. I also add some sauteed green pepper and a few other things (I'm a little bit of this, a little bit of that kind of cook, sorry).
