I'm out of sugar - what you all think - can I make it with baking choc. and without sugar? Or a waste of ingredients?

I don't think you can make it without sugar... it adds texture. I would think it would be too runny without the sugar.

I made this for first days. My family loved it. I plan on making it all year round too. Thank you for posting Chocolate Moose. It is going in my book of favorite recipes.

Not me! This is the year I will finally try this!
Question: Is it worth it to make it with less chocolate so it will be less rich?

can I ask all those of you who have made it before what the texture and consistency is for you once it's baked?
it comes out different for me then when my sister does it. Hers is more cake like and mine is more creamy chocolate like. I like hers better. Maybe it's the oven?

Maybe you need to bake it longer? Mine came out in between - it's firm like a cake, but not dry - it was moist, dense and rich - if I remember correctly - I think I did this 2 years ago.

Quote: | I made this, but added 1/2 a cup of potato flour (=2 cups when x 4). I didn't know whether it was supposed to have potato flour and it was accidentally missed out, or whether that was the original recipe. Anyway, it was quite rich enough like that and yes - delicious! Thanks bashinda and cm. |
