The Pan Seared Tuna with Pineapple salas and Balsamic Reduction

From the Bitayavon that Oholei Torah gave out at their Chinese Auction

4 pieces of fresh tuna- I had gotten ours on sale a while back

Cup and a half of vinegar, balsamic if possible

3 T sugar

Salt and peppere to taste

2 cup finely diced pineapple – I used half a can of the stuff I got on sale recently

Red pepper, cut up

Small onion, red if possible

Jalapeno – I left this out

Lemon

In small sauce pan, simmer your vinegar and sugar until liquid reduced to about half. In a larger saucepan, heat the oil and your onion and add the fish. Sear and add the pineapple, red pepper & jalapeno. Add the balsamic reduction, the squeezed lemon, and add your salt and pepper to taste.
