Gnocchi are little potato dumplings. I like to serve them with pasta sauce and cheese, pesto or even in a veggie soup to make it more filling. I buy them in the kosher aisle at the grocery store. Bartenura makes them. I would like to make my own but it is kind of a patcke.

This weeks dinner:

Sunday we had trader joes soup and left over WW rolls from shabbos.

Tonight I finally made the baked orzo I wanted to make last week.

Tuesday- Tacos with beans, cheese corn etc

Wed-Crock pot meatballs and polenta

Thurs- Baked omelets and hash browns

does a can of tomato sauce count as a tomato ingredient? I guess you could just leave it out? let me know if you still want it.
what's souvlaki steak? sounds cool. (and I hope you weren't going to serve soggy salad on monday!)

saute sliced onions and celery (celery optional) add shredded leftover chicken, soy sauce, sugar (a fair amount...it should be sweet), some chicken soup. serve with rice and top with the skinny crunchy chinese noodles.
my mother used to make it for us all the time when we were kids. we inhaled it.

Thanks mosma for the prompt response! it was delicious!! I sauteed onion added a cube of garlic threw in some celery and peppers and finally the shredded chicken. I had baked my chicken in a soy sauce brown sugar sauce so I used some gravy and of course the chow mein noodles. I was so glad not to throw away chicken.
