we are looking for a camera that will be good for baby/kid pictures.

We have a dslr with a great zoom (tho the lens goes slow esp when the more its zoomed) so we dont need it to take amaxing pictures of nature etc... but we need something thats a little more usable for day to day quick pics of babys first smile, crawl etc.

so basically we want something that doesnt take 5 years before you can take another picture, has decent shots and is good for kids in particular.

and we want to get it within the next month or so, we dont want to have to lug our nikon around the hospital.

Go to B&Hphoto website, type in lumix, they have one for 99 dollars that will be perfect for what you want. or look for m,y links here:
