can I use my george foreman grill for salmon?
a) halachically- if it's totally clean from the last time I used it for meat, it's not a problem, right? I mean, I use the same pots and stuff for fish and meat as long as they are clean.
b) will it taste good? how long do I grill it?

TIA!

I'm focusing on b-- I have found broilered/grilled salmon is excellent, especially for the fattier cuts that get crispy and delicious AND on a George Foreman you can glaze the top without a huge mess (I currently love curry/brown sugar glaze) for a moderately thick piece (up to about 2 inches) I cook for 7 minutes on the grill.

I know in restaurants that they have to kasher first, I don't remember why ... but at home, right - you don't need separate untensils for fish and meat if they are clean.

we put parchment paper in between both plates= avoids halachic issues and avoids the mess tastes great even still. it is my all time favorite!!!

This is a shayla for your Rav. We were told that we can use it if we wait 24 hours after cooking meat. My sister was told no, she can't use it. It depends on your Rav.

Don't overgrill because it gets dry rather fast IME.
