I have a recipe given to me by my grandmother that goes great with fish
1 Jar Mayonnaise 32 Ounces
2 Pickles Diced
1 1/2 ounce/s Pickle Juice
1/2 Fresh Lemon Squeezed
1 package/s Dill
Preparation
Put 4 TBSP of mayonnaise in a blender and add a little pickle juice and 1 pickle. Blend until smooth. Layer the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. You might need to add more pickle juice to obtain the right consistency

This is not tartar sauce, but goes well with fried fish:
1/2 cup mayo
1 TBSP lemon juice
1-2 minced garlic cloves
~ 1/2 tsp dill
We love this on challah and as a dip for fish.

The stuff that you buy lasts a long time in the fridge whereas homemade does not. I should have gotten some after pesach, takeh - thansk for reminding me.

You can just mix some mayo with a ready made relish and lemon juice. For an extra kick add some hot sauce ( it will make the sauce a little red)

All you need is mayo, lemon juice, dillweed, garlic powder, and the tiniest drop of apple cider or red wine vinegar.

My recipe is similar to the one posted above.
Mayonaise (ready made from a jar works fine), pickled cucumbers and parsley (I use either the fresh bug free parsley from EY or the frozen cubes, both are fine.
Just blend the amount of mayonaise you need transformed into tartare sauce with some parsley and pickles with a stick blender. You get a lovely pale green sauce. Keeps two or three weeks in the fridge.

Yeah, they used to only sell the Gold's stuff Pesach time, but now I've been seeing it year round. Nevertheless I stocked up after Pesach just in case.
